Shipping Policy

At Ask Mary (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we aim to ensure your items are delivered quickly and securely. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery timeframes, shipping methods, fees, and related procedures. By placing an order with us through www.askmary.org, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Shipping Coverage
We currently deliver orders throughout New Zealand, including both urban and rural addresses. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

2. Delivery Timeframes
Our standard delivery times are as follows:

Non-rural addresses: Delivery within up to 3 working days after dispatch.

Rural addresses: Please allow an additional 2–3 working days for delivery.
All orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders placed after 12 PM may be processed the following business day. Delivery times begin once the order has been dispatched and you have received a shipping confirmation email.
Please note that delivery may occasionally be delayed due to factors beyond our control, such as courier disruptions, weather conditions, or peak holiday periods.

3. Shipping Fees
We charge a flat shipping rate across New Zealand:

Standard NZ Post (tracked): $10 per order, covering packages up to 3kg.
Orders exceeding 3kg may incur an additional postage fee, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.

4. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and link to monitor your delivery via NZ Post. To ensure you receive tracking updates, please provide accurate contact information during checkout.

5. Delivery Partners
We use trusted courier and postal services, primarily NZ Post, to handle deliveries. While we partner with reliable carriers, Ask Mary is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage that occurs after an order has been handed to the courier.
If your parcel is delayed or appears lost, please contact us promptly. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue as efficiently as possible.

6. Delivery Issues and Returned Packages
If your order cannot be delivered due to incorrect address details or failure to collect it from a pickup location, the package may be returned to us. Once received, we can:

Re-send the parcel (additional shipping fees may apply), or

Process a refund for the product cost, excluding original shipping fees.
To prevent delivery issues, please double-check your delivery details before placing your order.

7. Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, contact us within 7 days of receipt with your order number and supporting photos (if applicable). We will review your claim and arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund as appropriate.

8. Order Modifications and Cancellations
Orders can only be modified or cancelled before they are dispatched. Once your order is shipped, cancellations or address changes cannot be processed. Please contact our support team as soon as possible if you need assistance.

9. Public Holidays and Peak Periods
During New Zealand public holidays and busy seasons (such as Christmas), dispatch and delivery times may be slightly extended. We recommend ordering in advance to ensure timely delivery.
